St. Anthony Study Hall Program

Mission statement:

The mission of this program is to provide all children ages 5 years to 13-year-old with a safe place to be cared for before and after school, as well as summer and school breaks. They will get a healthy breakfast and put on their respective buses to go to school. We will help them do their homework with certified teachers, Paraprofessionals, and staff. This is a place where children can continue to learn and grow as individuals, as well as in community. They will have opportunities to grow by sharing time with responsible adults and their peers for a well-rounded life experience. In today's world, “It takes a community to raise a child”.

This program does not receive financial support from the parish or diocese. In fact, we make monthly financial donations to the parish and we pay our share of the utility bills and insurance expenses.

We are an Approved Provider for Child Care Aware America which services our veterans and their families. We look forward to serving our veterans and their families in their childcare needs.

*THE STUDY HALL WILL BE CLOSED ON THE SAME HOLIDAYS / SCHOOL CLOSURES THAT ARE OBSERVED BY THE WOODBRIDGE SCHOOLS - We will be open for the Fall and Spring Break.

The schools we serve are:  Port Reading School #9, Matthew Jago School #28, and Avenel Middle (transported by Woodbridge Township ONLY). We accept all students who have an IEP and can be transported to and from us. We accept all child who can get to our location. We do not provide transportation to and from schools.

If you need to get transportation to and from St. Anthony, whose children are in Woodbridge Township schools, please contact Woodbridge Transportation at (732) 346-2300 or email them at trans@woodbridge.k12.nj.us. You must sign up for everyday with the township and with us you can register for what you need and coordinate the days you will not use the with the school for days your child will not be on the bus to or from us. The children will have outside time as much as possible, weather permitting.

TUITION AND FEES

• No Registration Fees or Deposits (except for summer program which is included with the cost at no extra fee)
• Qualifies for Dependent Child Care Credit
• $12 per day Before Care/$10 for additional child
• $12 per day Aftercare/$10 for additional child
• $55 full daycare –Mon-Thurs 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Fri 6:30AM to 6:00PM during the school year - Additional child is $50                                                                         - Full week (4 days) $200 first child and   $175 for each additional child.
• No extra charge for delayed openings or half days - (Based on Woodbridge Township schools ONLY)
• 10% discount if paid in full by the 21st of the previous month
• Subsidized Families (Community Childcare Solutions) do not have any copays until July 2023.

Summer Break 

• $55 per day Summer Break , All inclusive: breakfast, lunch, snacks, drinks, before, and after care
• Every Monday is a Brown Bag Lunch
• $250 for a FULL WEEK (5 Days) registered additional child $225
• T-shirts - $12
• Financial aid is available through Childcare Solutions or if you need a payment plan please contact the email the office at studyhalldirector@gmail.com

FEES:

• $25 late pick-up fee, per child, for every 15 minutes after 6:30 PM Mon-Thurs and 6:00PM Fri.
• $35 fee for outstanding balances, unless other arrangements have been made

Do you need help paying for food, childcare or whatever, during these trying times? New Jersey has a website that can help you at https://www.njhelps.org/ Here you can apply or find out for what you may qualify for. With all that is going on the State as well as the Federal Government has raised income limits and therefor you may now qualify when you did not in the past. You can also try https://communitychildcaresolutions.org/ for childcare assistance. We currently have over 75% of our families receiving some sort of assistance for childcare services. Most of them pay nothing or as little as $3 per day. You have nothing to lose if you apply, only something to gain.
